Airport Drop-off in China
The airport drop-off process in China was executed seamlessly. Teachers arrived at the airport early, providing patient assistance to students with check-in and baggage handling while reiterating important information. These simple words were imbued with the care of both parents and teachers. After bidding farewell, parents and teachers remained behind, watching as students passed through security and made their way toward the boarding gate, embarking on a broader journey.
Pick-up In Canada
Upon crossing the ocean into a foreign land, students found themselves not alone. At the Canadian airport, teachers and senior students awaited them at the exit, ready to welcome each new student with warm smiles and clear signage.
Preparation for Orientation
Prior to the arrival of students, Teacher Heather meticulously prepared both campus facilities and classrooms, thoughtfully planning every detail to ensure that each student would be welcomed into an environment that is both warm and comfortable.
The school also provides nutritious meals featuring a variety of options along with fresh fruit to help students maintain their physical well-being as they embark on their new life in Canada filled with energy.
Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony marked the beginning of this new journey with a grand sense of occasion. The freshmen, in uniform, looked spirited under the gaze of everyone, showing their youthful vigor and confident spirit. Kent School Principal Mr. Rob Ford delivered a warm welcome speech to the students, followed by the introduction and blessings of all the teachers.
Entrance Test
To facilitate a smooth transition for new students at Kent School and ensure an efficient start to their studies, Principal Rob Ford has developed comprehensive planning alongside diligent guidance from all teaching staff as students participated in the entrance test. This assessment serves not only as a scientific evaluation of incoming new students’ existing knowledge but also establishes a crucial foundation for developing tailored teaching plans that promote fulfilling and effective campus life.
