Students part of the “C11” team, consisting of five members (Yu Junbao, Tang Zilin, Serdar, Jiang Danmin and Ni Xinyao) of Zhangjiagang Foreign Language School’s International Department were awarded the bronze medal (third place) and Young Entrepreneur Award at the ASDAN Business Simulation regional competition. The competition was held from the 26th to the 27th of February 2022.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition was held online. However, this did not dampen the student’s enthusiasm. During the 12-hour competition, student went through five rounds of operational decisions, two rounds of roadshows and one round of simulated stock market investment; obtaining funding through a series of activities designed to maximize the benefit to their “company”.
The ASDAN business simulation is based on a professional business IT simulation system. The winner is determined by the amount of final net worth, which fully simulates the real environment and decision-making process of market and company operations. Each year, 400+ international schools and key high schools participate. There were 40,000 elite student participants in total. The ASDAN Young Entrepreneur Certificate is awarded to the excellent team. A valuable credential for students seeking admission to both domestic and international universities.
