This month, the Grade 12 students of Kent School successfully completed one of the most critical examinations of their academic careers: the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT)! In preparation for this exam, students diligently engaged in intensive preparation, with every ounce of effort reflecting their accumulated work. We extend our best wishes to all students, hoping they will be rewarded for their dedication, pass the provincial examination, and move steadily toward their future goals!

With the provincial exams concluded, the students’ energy remains undiminished! They quickly transitioned into “volunteer mode,” actively participating in a leaf-raking community service activity. Working in groups with great enthusiasm, they extended the same meticulousness and dedication shown in the classroom to their volunteer work, embodying the responsibility and commitment of Kent students.

Warmth and recognition go hand in hand, as the November Principal’s Luncheon was held as scheduled. Accompanied by delicious food and shared joy, all subjects teachers, following tradition, presented awards to students who demonstrated outstanding performance this month. Congratulations to the following students for being named “Excellent Students of the Month”: Zhang Yiyun, Zhang Chengxu, Xu Ziqian, Chen Yutong, Pang Chenjie, Wang Yidan, Liu Xin, Wen Kexin, Wang Yujia, Liu Zhaoxing, Liu Kaiyu, Lin Qingyi, Liu Xinyu, and Huan Wenqiang.

In addition to the “Excellent Students of the Month”, the “Athletic Champions” from the sports meet and the behind-the-scenes referees also received special awards! The Principal personally presented awards to the students and expressed special gratitude to students like Hua Wenxin and Xu Jialiang for their full commitment – well done!

November’s highlights have drawn to a close, and anticipation for December is approaching. We wish the students of Kent School continued passion as they write their own brilliant chapters within every corner of the campus!
