On November 27th, the Kent School Sports Day commenced with great enthusiasm. Organized by the Student Council, this event featured three popular sports: basketball, badminton, and table tennis, igniting a fervent passion for sports across the campus.
Basketball
The basketball game began amidst cheers from the excited audience. The black team (comprising Meng Enyu, Mao Yuhao, Zhang Binyang, Chen Chen, Li Guanbo, and Yao Boyan) faced off against the red team (consisting of He Jiarui, Lou Zhenting, Zhang Yimo, Zhu Yize, Ouyang Siyuan, and Shu Xin). After four intense rounds of competition, the red team emerged victorious with a score of 102 to 71. Lou Zhenting from the red team delivered an outstanding performance by scoring 37 points throughout the match and was subsequently honored as the MVP of the basketball game.
Table Tennis
The table tennis event utilized a point system featuring three participants: Shen Jinnan, Zhang Gaohan, and Ding Zhixuan. Throughout their matches, all players showcased exceptional skills and composure. Ultimately, Shen Jinnan claimed victory as champion due to his consistent performance.
Badminton
The badminton competition included four events:
boys’ singles; boys’ doubles; girls’ singles; and girls’ doubles. All participants demonstrated remarkable skill levels.

This sports day served not only as a platform to showcase athletic prowess but also as an opportunity for students to strengthen friendships and foster teamwork spirit. Through their spirited efforts during these competitions—marked by sweat—students vividly embodied the essence of sportsmanship while igniting youthful passion through tangible actions. The younger generation should strive for excellence and show their potential.
