On May 8, 2024, thirty days before graduation, a magnificent celebration was held at Kent School in Canada. Teachers and students gathered in the auditorium to extend their best wishes to the graduating class for their accomplishments and successes, marking the successful conclusion of students’ high school life. The auditorium was packed with vibrant and youthful enthusiasm.
The opening provided an opportunity for the students to share their achievements. The students demonstrated their vigor and excitement, and the teachers are proud of these young people who are soon to embark on a new educational journey in different countries. Then, Principal Doug performed a charming song that greatly impacted the students with his powerful and resonant voice, eliciting thunderous applause.
During the recitation of original poems from students, it felt like we were flicking through the pages of our high school memories, representing each season—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—that both teachers and students had shared.The next session was the highly anticipated creative game. After the teachers and students demonstrated the process of designing and adapting games using computer code, everyone eagerly signed up to participate in this innovative and creative activity.
Another highlight was the exceptional piano performance by the teachers. Their fingers skillfully danced across the keys, producing a beautiful melody that captivated the audience with its accuracy and emotion, conveying their heartfelt story through each note. As the commendation session commenced, it marked an end to the celebration. The honors were not only a testament to students’ hard work but also a recognition and praise of their abilities. The applause expressed sincere blessings for the award-winning students.
Following the event, Principal Doug arranged a vibrant ice cream party surprise for everyone, featuring an assortment of candies and ice creams to help beat away summer heat and instantly uplift everyone’s spirits. This celebration was successfully concluded. On this energetic afternoon, we spent a wonderful and enjoyable time together. All the teachers and students formed a warm and joyful family, and although the separation was imminent, the memories will always remain in our hearts.
