Calibou Contests
On October 19, 2022, the International Department of Zhangjiagang Foreign Language School hosted the first round of Calibou Contests online. This competition drew 49 students, with 17 winning prizes, accounting for 35% of the total number of participants. 2 of the 17 prize winners ranked in the top 5% worldwide, 3 ranked in the top 15% worldwide, 4 ranked in the top 20% worldwide, and 8 ranked in the top 25% worldwide.

Australian Mathematics Competition
The results of the Australian Mathematics Competition held in September 2022 were announced on November 23, 2022. The competition drew 49 students from the International Department of Zhangjiagang Foreign Language School, with 46 students winning prizes, accounting for 94% of the total number. 1 participant received the National Second Prize, 5 participants received the National Third Prize, and 40 participants received the Mathematics Skills Award. ASDAN Business Simulation
The Jiangsu Regional Competition of ASDAN Business Simulation was held in Suzhou, China, from November 26 to 27, 2022. This competition drew 11 teams and 73 students from Jiangsu Province. The competition was attended by 13 students from the International Department of Zhangjiagang Foreign Language School. They divided into two groups and transformed into “young entrepreneurs,” going through the entire entrepreneurship process by simulating company operations, financing roadshows, and auction transactions. The ASDAN Young Entrepreneur Certificate was awarded to five members of the team.

Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest
Han Xu, who ranked in the top 25% of contestants in the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest, received the Distinction Certificate on December 28, 2022.

The Junior Canadian Chemistry Olympiad (JCCO)
Xu Han, Grade 11 student, won the Regional Excellence Award (top 20% in East China) of the Junior Canadian Chemistry Olympiad( JCCO) on December 30, 2022.

National Economics Challenge
Xu Han and Yang Tiyu, Grade 11 students, advanced to the China Station Cloud Summit of the National Economics Challenge on December 30, 2022, with a total group score of 620. (100 points above the national average score).

Video on AIDS Prevention and Control
Sai Erda, Lu Hongjie, Shen Jiabao, and Shen Bowen, in Grade 11, film a video about AIDS prevention and control. They won the Excellent Award in the Suzhou AIDS prevention and treatment propaganda short video works collection contest on December 31, 2022.

On January 5, 2023, Sai Erda, Lu Hongjie, Shen Jiabao, and Shen Bowen, were awarded third prize in the 2022 Zhangjiagang AIDS Prevention and Education Works Collection Competition for their promotional videos, and each received a book card worth 100 RMB and an honorary certificate from the Zhangjiagang Centers for Disease Control.
