Easter, a cherished Western holiday, symbolizes rebirth and hope. Celebrated on the first Sunday after the full moon following the vernal equinox, it ushers in the warmth and renewal of spring. One of the most beloved traditions of the season is the Easter egg hunt—colorful eggs that represent new life and reflect people’s hopes for a brighter future.
On April 17, students and teachers at Canada Kent School gathered to celebrate this meaningful occasion with enthusiasm and joy. The school gymnasium was festively decorated, hiding 100 Easter eggs—three of which held grand prizes, heightening the excitement of the hunt.
The celebration featured a variety of engaging activities. Under the cheerful guidance of Teacher Heather, students participated in spirited games such as the lively Bunny Hop, the breath-powered Egg Blow, and the Marshmallow Bunny Stack, a fun test of balance and patience.
Adding to the excitement, Principal Rob took the stage to present awards to outstanding students, prompting rounds of applause and cheerful laughter from the crowd. The entire event was filled with the vibrant energy of spring and the spirit of togetherness.
As the celebration drew to a close, students could be seen either eagerly searching for hidden eggs or enjoying the games with their friends. The gym echoed with bursts of laughter and joyful chatter, making it a memorable event for all.
This special Easter celebration not only allowed students and teachers to embrace traditional customs, but also provided a delightful opportunity to bond and enjoy the unique spirit of campus life.
