In October, Kent School was brimming with vitality and warmth. Throughout the month, a series of diverse campus activities were successively held, capturing both the heartfelt interactions between teachers and students and the growth and remarkable moments of the students.
The October birthday party arrived as scheduled, with the campus extending its sincerest blessings to the teachers and students celebrating their birthdays this month. The highly anticipated Principal’s Lunch stood out as a highlight among the month’s activities.
This ceremonial lunch was planned and organized by the Student Council members. At the event, Student Council President Zhang Chengxu and member Hua Wenxin served as hosts, guiding the proceedings with their lively and natural style. Their presence filled the campus with laughter and joy, bridging the gap between teachers and students and enveloping the school in homely warmth.
Prior to the Principal’s Lunch, a solemn awards ceremony was held to honor the Outstanding Students of October. Teachers from various subjects personally presented certificates to students who had excelled in academics, character, and practical activities, recognizing their hard work and achievements while setting inspiring examples for all students.
Congratulations to the following seven students—Liu Dong, Zhang Yiyun, Zheng Shitian, Zhang Ruijian, Peng Zichen, Wang Lilin, and Xu Ziyue—for being awarded the title of “Outstanding Students of October.”
In Chinese class, a unique activity titled “Introducing Chinese and Foreign Cultures in English” was brilliantly staged. Students transformed into “young cultural ambassadors,” fully unleashing their creativity and hands-on skills to design exquisite, illustrated posters. Through their work, they vividly showcased the charm of traditional Chinese culture and the distinctive features of diverse global cultures.
In October, the campus glowed with the warmth of gathering, shone with the honor of achievements, and was enriched by the depth of cultural exchanges.
