A New Chapter Begins——2026 Graduation Ceremony

In June, a warm breeze swept over the crystal-clear waves of Niagara Falls, as maple leaves gently fluttered in the air. Distinguished guests, school leaders, faculty members, students, and parents gathered in the auditorium. To the sound of cheerful music, the graduates, dressed in academic gowns, entered the hall in an orderly manner. Everyone stood up and sang the Canadian national anthem, officially commencing the graduation ceremony.

Principal Rob, basing on his personal experiences, delivered an inspiring message to the graduates about the value of life and the power of action. He emphasized that high school education is not merely about accumulating knowledge, but also about developing the ability to learn, the spirit of collaboration, and resilience. He acknowledged the students’ transformation from youth to maturity. He stressed that success is not only intellectual achievement but also about staying true to oneself, being brave, and kind—and being able to look back each night with a clear conscience. Finally, Principal Rob encouraged students not only to acquire knowledge but also to put what they have learned into practice, to actively create value rather than passively wait. He encouraged students to see the future as an unwritten book, to take brave risks, to stay true to their core values, and to make unique contributions to the world.

Ms. Patel, a municipal representative from the City of Niagara Falls, offered her congratulations to the Class of 2026 graduates. She affirmed the students’ hard work and growth over the years, noting that while the future is full of uncertainties, it is also full of possibilities. She encouraged everyone to remain curious, brave, and kind in the face of challenges, to cherish the support of their families and teachers, and to apply their knowledge in practice—not only pursuing personal achievements but also contributing to society. Graduation marks not an end but a new beginning. She wished for the students to move forward courageously like the unceasing Niagara Falls, writing their own wonderful chapters in life.

Principals Ruth and David pointed out that university is not just about academic advancement but also about fully experiencing life, enjoying social interactions, and self-discovery. They encouraged students to strive for happiness alongside academic diligence. Principal David specifically reminded students to value building deep emotional connections with classmates, teachers, and their alma mater as they adjust to new environments, emphasizing that these relationships are crucial pillars for future success.

Mr. Douglas, a representative from Buffalo University, highlighted the importance of interpersonal relationships. He encouraged students not to forget their alma mater, classmates, and teachers, as these connections would be invaluable assets in their future lives.

Chairman Chen Qiaofeng, on behalf of the school, extended his congratulations, gratitude, and respect to the graduates, teachers, and parents. He reflected on the students’ growth and character development over the past three years and offered his parting words: “Be confident, pursue your dreams with courage, and innovate for the future.” He promised that the school would always be students’ spiritual home, with its doors always open no matter how far they go. He encouraged the students to take on the responsibilities of family and country, and to become internationally-minded leaders of their era.
