On their academic journey, the students have kept pace without pause. Upon arriving at Kent School in Canada, they swiftly adjusted their mindset and actively integrated into the overseas academic environment. From attending fully English-language classes to engaging in collaborative group discussions, and then taking their first formal assessment after enrollment, the students have gradually adapted to the academic pace of North America through classroom practice and academic evaluation—thus embarking on a rewarding period of study abroad.

Immersive all-English classroom | Align with North American classroom models

English-only classrooms have been successfully launched across North America. The foreign teaching faculty conducts all lessons entirely in English, leveraging blackboard demonstrations and multimedia courseware to facilitate diverse classroom interactions. Students attentively listen to the instruction, fully immersing themselves in a native English teaching environment, and rapidly adapt to the overseas classroom teaching model.

Collaboration, mutual support, and joint research | Foster a strong academic atmosphere of mutual progress

During both classroom and self-study sessions, a strong atmosphere of peer-assisted learning prevails. Students work in pairs, sitting around a table to discuss problems, collaboratively deconstructing exercises and sharing problem-solving strategies. When encountering challenging concepts, they jointly analyze and reason through them, embodying the learning philosophy of “In union there is strength.” Through this exchange of ideas, they overcome learning obstacles, and through mutual support, they achieve collective progress.

First diagnostic test | Calibrate the learning heading

The first examination upon arrival at Kent School in Canada proceeded as scheduled. In the examination hall, students approached the questions with composure and provided rigorous responses. This inaugural assessment served as a comprehensive baseline evaluation of the students’ academic proficiency—not only providing a thorough review of their prior mastery of language skills and subject knowledge, but also enabling both teachers and students to accurately identify areas for improvement, thereby clarifying the direction for subsequent instructional support and self-directed learning.

Immersive classroom experiences shape our way of thinking, peer support provides the strength to move forward, and diagnostic assessments help us establish clear benchmarks for our subsequent growth. Building on this learning journey, our students will take this experience as a fresh starting point—to identify and address knowledge gaps, stay grounded in their efforts, and further deepen their academic knowledge at Kent School in Canada, embarking on their own path of overseas growth.
