Admissions Officers from the University of Toronto Visited Kent School to Assist Students with University Applications

Admissions officers from the University of Toronto and Brooke University visited Kent School on November 3rd (Canada time) and presented to assist senior students with their university applications. An admissions officer from the University of Toronto visited Kent School on Wednesday afternoon to give a presentation. The admissions officer met with many students one-on-one at the Ontario University Admissions Fair two weeks ago, and visiting the Kent campus feels more meaningful. The admissions officer provided the students with a more detailed overview of the University of Toronto, the application process, the various and unique benefits of the three campuses, and the flexibility of university life and study.

Brock University has reserved a bus specifically for Kent School students, who will visit Brock University on Sunday to get a closer experience at Brooks University. The presentation was recorded with the permission of the admissions officers to provide a more engaging introduction to the top universities for Kent School online learning students. After the session, the admissions officers also left their contact information to assist students and teachers during the admissions season.

The school intentionally scheduled these two admissions presentations together to provide students with more specific information about universities and give them a sense of how competitive the application season is. Students listened intently, interacted actively, inquired about the majors and admission requirements of the universities they were interested in, and gradually began to think about a plan for their future and understand their responsibilities at both events.
