Ruth’s Message.
It is my belief that students can excel when they are motivated and challenged to do their best. At Kent School students are provided with a strong academic
experience as they prepare for university life in Canada. The staff at Kent School create a warm and caring environment ensuring that every student is able to reach their full potential.
At Kent School Canada located in beautiful Niagara Falls students will be challenged to excel and succeed. Lead by an exemplary principal, Karen Gough the teachers at Kent School are dedicated to ensure that all students reach their potential . All our graduates over the past years have been accepted at top universities in Canada and beyond. When I visit Kent School I am always impressed with the teaching and learning that is demonstrated. Students at Kent School are well prepared to enter university and
begin their post secondary education.
Canada and in particular the province of Ontario is a very multicultural society. We are fortunate that our school is located
in one of the most culturally diverse parts of the province. Students can feel at home seeing their own culture represented in
our population, but more importantly then can begin to experience a more global view of their world. We welcome students from
around the world to learn at Kent School and to become global citizens. Learning at Kent School prepares students not only for
university but for their life in our global society.
On behalf of Kent School I look forward to welcoming all of you to Canada and to our excellent school.
I have been engaged in education for 38 years. Served as teacher, vice principal, principal and supervisor in Canadian high schools. Compiled the curriculum standards of Canadian high school education innovation studio. I was also the professor at Cardinal college for seven years.
I believes that all students possess the ability to learn and that all students are unique learners who bring a variety of skills, abilities, and aptitudes to school. Our goal as educators must be to identify the strengths of all our students, plan effectively to meet their needs, and instill in each one of them the idea that they can and will succeed with our support and guidance.
