


In order to further strengthen teacher’s ethics, ideological and moral standing as well as mitigate psychological anxiety, on 18th September, Kent School carried out a mental health training seminar for teachers. All teachers of grade 12 participated in the training.
Ms. Yang Yang, a psychology teacher at the Zhangwai campus of Kent School and graduated from Yunnan Normal University with a master’s degree in applied psychology gave the lecture. She focused on three aspects of mental health: teacher’s job burnout and psychological communication skills between teachers and students. She also shared with teachers methods and strategies of managing emotions and relieving psychological pressure through different cases studies.
